Aluminium futures were trading higher in the domestic market on Monday as participants strengthened their positions, supported by a strong demand in the spot market.
Market analysts said that a firming trend in the base metal at the domestic spot markets, mainly influenced the aluminium prices in futures trade here.
At the MCX, Aluminium futures for June 2016 contract is trading at Rs 105.65 per kg, up by 0.52 per cent, after opening at Rs 105, against a previous close of Rs 105.10. It touched the intra-day high of Rs 105.75 (At 11:34 AM).
